CIE is delighted to have added to it's collection of AV industry accolades having recently collected 'Best Training Course' at the CEDIA Awards 2019 in London.
The CEDIA Awards - which recognise excellence in the custom residential AV technology industry - took place in September at the world famous Victoria and Albert Museum of art and design.
CIE - one of the AV industry's most innovative distributors of audio, video and security technology - were listed not once, but twice as a finalist in the same category for their ground-breaking training innitiatives. Shortlisted for their industry-leading HowToAV.tv free online training channel and for their UK-wide AV-over-IP Academies, it was CIE's face-to-face IP training academies which came out on top as CEDIA 'Best Training Course' award winner.

Over the past 18 months CIE has been delivering a program of free, full-day training courses focussed on Audio-over-IP, Video-over-IP and IP Intercoms - all of which have been delivered free-of-charge to AV and security integrators and designers throughout the UK. To date, CIE has delivered this training to in excess of 200 industry delegates.
CIE Marketing Director Chris Edwards (pictured on right), who collected the award on the night commented;
"The CEDIA Awards is always a great event in the industry calender and this year was no exception - excellent venue, good host and obviously some fantastic networking with new contacts. We were delighted to pick up the best training award for a trade supplier in front of a good crowd as it makes all the hard work worthwhile. I'm also looking forward to welcoming many more CEDIA members onto our future academies."
The CIE AV-over-IP Academies have been supported by CIE's IP technology partners Axis, 2N and CYP.
