Audio Visual Area Account Manager

Package: £50k OTE, Car, Pension, BUPA, Laptop, Mobile, etc
Area: Based - North West England  | Territory - North of England and Scotland

CIE specialises in the four key product groups of Audio Visual, Intercom, Connectivity and Test Instrumentation.

As a key member of our multi-award winning team, the successful candidate for this AV Account Manager role will maintain and develop sales of our market leading Audio Visual & Door Entry/Access Control portfolio to installers, integrators and distribution within the professional and residential AV / security sectors.

Main duties & responsibilities:

  • Promote the sales of CIE’s range of professional audio visual, door entry and access control products in the designated area by:
      - Regular and routine calls on existing accounts
      - Consistent prospecting to secure new accounts
      - Follow up all generated leads
      - Develop and maintain project pipeline through both specification and quotation
      - Working with both internal and external team members
  • Meet the agreed targets and company objectives
  • Ensure all activity is recorded in CRM
  • Provide sales intelligence and market feedback as required by the management
  • Maintain customer/prospect records at field levels in a form that is available to the company including visit reports and itineraries

Candidate specification:

To be considered for the role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:

  • Field Sales Experience and proven track record of success
  • Product knowledge/experience in installation audio, video, door entry or access control in the commercial or home automation markets
  • Confident, energetic, enthusiastic with an enquiring mind
  • Tenacious, with a ‘salesman’s mindset’
  • Good communication and presentation skills to all levels
  • Warm, friendly and honest
  • Physically fit (Presentation of our product range requires a certain level of lifting and handling)
  • Full Driving Licence
