The 2N Access Unit 2.0 is now available with 3-in-1 authentication options comprised of touch keypad, Bluetooth & RFID in a sleek, compact and modern access control reader.

Having previously supported dual authentication variations, this latest version now offers three access authentication options and is available in both Access Unit 2.0 and Verso Module variants to provide:

1. multi-frequency RFID (including NFC)
2. touch keypad PIN codes
3. Bluetooth-based mobile access control powered by WaveKey technology

The rise in demand for multiple access methods in one building is due to the variety if user needs, habits and abilities. While access via smartphone is fast, secure and convenient, it's not always suitable for everyone.
Some users may not have smartphones or may not be comfortable using them for security and identification purposes. For instance, elderly residents may have difficulty using their mobile phone for access.

Furthermore, visitors, delivery people and staff members who are not permanent residents but need to access a building and may not have the 2N Mobile Key app installed on their phones. These users require physical (as opposed to digital) authentication as an alternative, such as PIN code access.

The 2N Access Unit 2.0 Touch Keypad, Bluetooth & RFID offers maximum flexibility for any project. Whether it's a modern residential development that prefers mobile access control but wants to provide PIN codes for one-time access to certain areas, or a commercial development that currently uses RFID cards but wants the convenience of mobile access control, this reader allows clients to offer their users whatever they need.
