CIE’s Grahame James Steps Into the Ring for Macmillan Cancer Support

29th January 2026

On 10 April 2026, CIE Group’s Grahame James will step into the boxing ring for the very first time to take on a White Collar Boxing challenge in support of Macmillan Cancer Support.

On 10 April 2026 CIE Group's Grahame James, Area Account Manager for the South, will be doing something completely outside his comfort zone — stepping into the boxing ring for a White Collar Boxing match to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support

And when we say outside his comfort zone, we really mean it. Grahame has never set foot in a boxing gym before, let alone competed in a ring. This challenge marks a huge personal milestone, pushing both physical and mental limits in support of a cause that means a great deal to him and his family.

A Personal Challenge for a Powerful Cause

Grahame chose to fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support after seeing first-hand the impact cancer can have on those closest to you — and the vital role Macmillan plays in helping people through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

“People very close to me have been affected by cancer and fought long and hard to come out the other side. I’ve seen first-hand the great work Macmillan does, and it’s a charity my wife and I have supported for many years.” Grahame James

The White Collar Boxing event involves weeks of dedicated training, learning boxing fundamentals from scratch, and ultimately stepping into the ring in front of a live audience — all in the name of raising awareness and funds for Macmillan’s incredible work.
