Built to simplify residential automation and deliver true interoperability across smart home platforms, the akubela G32 combines advanced connectivity, flexible installation options and Matter-ready integration in one compact device.

The new G32 gateway has been developed to act as the central intelligence hub within the akubela smart home ecosystem, enabling installers and users to create fully connected living spaces with reliable control, automation and remote management.

Smart home control made simple

Designed around a Linux operating system, the akubela G32 supports multiple communication protocols including ZigBee 3.0, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, Matter over IP and Infrared control, allowing seamless integration between modern smart home devices and legacy IR-controlled products.

Integrated with the Belahome app, the G32 allows users to remotely monitor and control connected devices from anywhere, creating a unified smart home experience across lighting, climate control, security, AV and automation systems.

What are ZigBee and Matter?

ZigBee is a low-power wireless protocol commonly used in smart home products such as lighting, sensors and switches. It creates a reliable mesh network that allows devices to communicate efficiently across the home, making it ideal for stable and scalable automation systems.

Matter is the latest universal smart home standard developed to improve compatibility between devices and platforms from different manufacturers. It enables smarter interoperability between products, helping users create more flexible and future-proof smart home systems.

The akubela G32 supports both technologies and can manage up to 128 ZigBee and Matter sub-devices. It also functions as a Matter Bridge, allowing compatible devices to integrate with wider Matter-enabled ecosystems and third-party platforms.

Compact, discreet and easy to deploy, the G32 supports both desktop and wall-mounted installations and can be powered via either IEEE802.3af PoE or USB Type-C for maximum installation flexibility.

Built-in environmental sensors allow the gateway to monitor temperature and humidity levels, enabling more intelligent automation routines and improved comfort control throughout the property.
