In a highly anticipated event, this year's submissions for the coveted ASC (Association of Security Consultants) Imbert Prize have been officially received, marking the commencement of the rigorous judging process.
This year sponsored by access control experts CIE-Group, The Imbert Prize is bestowed annually upon the author of the most outstanding master’s degree dissertation in the realm of security-related subjects. The competition, fiercely contested by students hailing from universities across the UK, has long been a symbol of academic excellence and innovation.
"CIE are honoured to be able to help shine a light on tomorrow's generation of security experts."
CIE managing director Steve Collin told us; "Education and learning at every level, whether from inside or outside the classroom, is so important for us all to progress: individually, for the wider benefit of industry and beyond. Celebrating and rewarding such achievements are important and CIE are honoured to be able to help shine a light on, and support the future of, tomorrow's generation of security experts."
With a rich legacy spanning over two decades, the Imbert Prize serves as a catalyst for nurturing groundbreaking ideas, driving the academic progress of risk and security management in the United Kingdom and beyond. Each year, aspiring scholars compete to push the boundaries of knowledge and contribute to the advancement of the field.
The judging panel comprises esteemed professionals and academics immersed in the world of security, ensuring a thorough and comprehensive assessment of the entries.
With the offical event taking place next month, the spotlight will shine on the finalists, whose exceptional dissertations have earned them a place among the best and brightest in the field.
