Located in the picturesque rural village of North Ockendon, Upminster, Greyhound Grove is an exclusive collection of fourteen luxury detached and semi-detached bungalows, with every aspect meticulously planned to establish the most coveted high-end gated community.

System Requirements: 

The project, set within the serene and visually appealing rural environment, presented significant technical hurdles. Specifically, the gate's pre-existing structure lacked the necessary cable infrastructure, which made wiring and installation exceptionally difficult. This required innovative solutions to overcome the absence of traditional conduits. 

To maintain the project's high-end positioning, the door phone system needed to be meticulously designed to provide dual door control, accommodating both pedestrian and vehicular access through a single, sophisticated device. Naturally, the selected products had to be aesthetically harmonious with the beautiful rural setting, demanding a blend of functionality and refined design.

Streamlined IP solution, requiring less cabling

The absence of concealed cables at Greyhound Grove's gate prompted Akuvox to utilise IP technology. By installing a 4G router, they facilitated wireless data transmission for the Ethernet-compatible X912, maintaining the gate's aesthetics and ensuring optimal door phone performance. Secure Door Access

Offering enhanced convenience and security, the Akuvox X912 Smart Door Phone allows for dedicated control of pedestrian and vehicle access through its dual output relays. This single gate-mounted device provides multiple entry options, such as BLE proximity, facial recognition, QR codes, app access, and card reading with PIN. Vehicle access is simplified with remote opening via the SmartPlus App. Residents can also use the app to answer video calls and view visitors, thanks to the X912's high-quality dual Starlight 2M pixel cameras.
