The 2N IP Style has an Axis artpec-7 processor which provides an unrivalled video quality which competes with most outdoor IP cameras from leading manufacturers. It also handles multiple simultaneous full HD streams and has 5MP chip. The camera functions include WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) and adaptive IR night vision for colourful image even in bad light conditions.

What access control methods does the IP Style door intercom offer?

How does access control using QR Code recognition work?

IP Style QR Code Access ControlFor access control via QR codes, the entry system will typically include PC software or a smart phone App which quickly and easily generates a unique QR code. These QR codes generated can be set to allow access for a limited time period, specific days of the week, limited number of uses and entry limited to specific areas, floors or zones of the building.

Once the QR code has been generated, and sent directly to the recipient (the user who requires temporary access to the building - such as a delivery driver or cleaning staff, for example) for them to display on their smartphone device or print out if required.

A QR code-enabled Door Intercom device (in this case the IP Style), features a scanner (in the form of a built-in camera); the user simply displays their unique QR code from their smart phone to the access control device, the QR code is automatically scanned to confirm or deny access rights. Once the code is confirmed the door opens to allow access.

What is RFID Access Control and how does it work?

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is a wireless signal transmission technology frequently used in access control and door entry systems, that allows only authorised and registered users to enter secure spaces. RFID uses radio waves to read and capture data stored on tags (such as cards or keyfobs) to provide unique information for the subject or individual.

How is Bluetooth technology used in Access Control?

Bluetooth door entry utilises each individual user's smart phone with installed app for wireless transmission of access credentials and a Bluetooth Access proximity reader to receive the signal. When the device is near to the Access reader, the application communicates with the reader and exchanges the security key to authenticate and opens the lock to allow entry.

What is 2N Wavekey?

2N WaveKey is 2N's patented technology for mobile access control, it is the fastest on the market with unnvaled reliability and security. It allows security system administrators to generate and distribute access credentials to the user in a matter of moments, using a simple web interface and remote 'mobile key' distribution. There is no requirement to meet the user in person to provide physical credentials of keys. Wavekey stands out as it offers mobile credentials free of charge which are simple to distribute without the need for cloud connection.
