The QU-18S HDMI distribution amplifier / splitter from CYP is an advanced technology, high quality, rack -mountable solution featuring 1 In, 8 Out HDMI.
The QU18S is compatible with v1.3 HDMI specifications, a cutting edge technology which defines the support of the transfer of Deep Colour (10-bit and 12-bit) video and new lossless compressed (LPCM 7.1ch Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio) digital audio with a high bandwidth up to 225MHz (6.75Gbps).
Besides splitting and distributing, the CYP QU-18S also boasts signal amplification to extend the transmission distance to up to 20 metres and equalisation to provide high performance input / output of high resolution audio and video.
EDID management is handled by a simple switch.
A common application of this product is in commercial, retail and lesiure AV installations where one HDMI source is required to be displayed on up to 8 HD screens simultaneously.
