The RE-EDID-4K22 HDMI EDID Manager manipulates DVI EDID and HDMI information to a HDMI source by a connected display.

Read Mode: Reads the TV/displays EDID information
Write Mode: Overwrites the TV/displays EDID information (TV/display needs to be able to support overwrite function)
8 unique sets of EDID settings may be stored via the learning procedure.
Emulator Mode: Allows the source device to read the selected EDID information from the units default or learnt EDID memory
Bypass Mode: Allows the source device to read the EDID information from the TV/display directly
Supports DVI sources when used with a DVI to HDMI adaptor (not supplied)
Supports CEC functionality

The RE-EDID-4K22 HDMI EDID Manager manipulates DVI EDID and HDMI information to a HDMI source by a connected display.

The EDID contains all important information on local connectivity including video/audio supportive formats, feature support for HDMI, etc.

The RE-EDID-4K22 manager aims to simplify and bypass technical issues that arise often with video integration, commercial displays in audio/vidual and testing and home cinema. With EDID emulation & bypass modes, this device is ideal to overcome compatibility issues between screen and source, especially where integrating PC’s into an AV installation is a requirement.
