CIE are taking the award-winning HowToAV team across the UK for a series of courses on the I.P. Academies UK Tour.

Beginning in Nottingham (which runs from 4-6 of December 2018) the programme takes in London, Birmingham, Manchester and Bracknell, with plans to add Newcastle, Dublin and Cardiff to the schedule later in 2019.

This new series of courses covers a broad range of IP installation practices – Video-over-IP, Audio-over-IP, IP Intercoms, Induction Loops and Lockdown Security Systems – and are designed to appeal to AV integrators, custom installers, security installers and electricians. The academies are a perfect opportunity for professional installers to get to grips with the technical challenges posed by the rapid migration of analogue to digital network-based signal distribution and control.

Each session will introduce key skills and relevant theory, while attendees will also get hands-on, practical experience with products – all without financial outlay!

“This new academy programme is built on the previous experience we have of running free training academies,” says Chris Edwards, Marketing Director of CIE. “We’ve been really gratified with the response we’ve had to our various academies, and for this series we’re offering even more value. For this series we will be resident in a city for three-days and will run back-to-back courses across that period. As such, installers can choose to attend a single course or block out three days and get up-to-speed on all aspects of IP installation. Response so far has been phenomenal and I’m really looking forward to kicking things off in our home town of Nottingham in December.”
