Express Mode
Guests can simply tap their iPhone or Apple Watch against the lock to unlock their room without needing to wake or unlock their device or open an app, making access fast, effortless and intuitive.
Power Reserve
Even if an iPhone’s battery is depleted, Room Key continues to work for up to five hours using Apple’s Power Reserve feature, ensuring guests aren’t locked out when they need access most.
Skip Reception with Automatic Check-in
Once a room is ready, guests automatically receive their mobile room key in Apple Wallet, allowing them to bypass reception altogether and head straight to their accommodation. The streamlined check-in process reduces queues, enhances convenience and creates a premium arrival experience.
Smarter Property Management
The benefits extend well beyond the guest experience. Through the Salto Space platform, hotel staff can manage room access remotely and respond instantly to changing guest requirements.
