The introduction of HDBaseT technology means that for the first time installers have the ability to deliver HDMI, proprietary data and control signals further than ever thought possible and all down a single CAT 5e/6 cable.
Kevin Cray explains the exciting key features of the technology:
“HDBaseT represents for CYP the greatest leap foward in technology in the past 5 years. For the first time, CIE-Group’s installers and integrators can deliver HDMI, RS232, 2-way IR, Ethernet, separate LAN and Power-over-Ethernet, all over a single CAT-X cable up to 100 metres.
Installers can now confidently distribute HDMI and the required control signals very easily over vast distances.”
