Application Days

Once the compulsory two-day foundation course, ‘What is Sound’, has been completed attendees can choose to specialise in a number of areas. Three application days are on offer – Corporate AV, Education and High Performance Audio.

Corporate AV - 16 March 2016

Training will take place at Morgan Stanley’s HQ, allowing attendees to apply the knowledge gained during the ‘What is Sound?’ foundation course to meeting room, boardroom and other corporate environments. The practical classroom-style training will be followed by a tour of Morgan Stanley’s premises where attendees will discover how an audio system is used in a real world set-up.

Education AV - 6 April 2016

Training will take place at Queen Mary University of London, allowing attendees to apply the knowledge gained during the ‘What is Sound?’ foundation course to lecture theatre and auditorium. The practical classroom-style training will be followed by a tour of Queen Mary’s premises where attendees will discover how an audio system is used in a real world set-up.

High Performance Sound - 13 April 2016

The High Performance Audio training session is an application day with a difference. The rules change when things get loud. High quality and high audio level systems are needed for many different applications. Taking place at the impressive Cadogan Hall in Sloane Square, this day sets out what you need to consider for such a system. It might be for a larger school theatre, an AV conference system that needs to pack a punch or a larger lecture hall. Most importantly, student will be able to make a noise! Ear plugs will be supplied.
