**RBTE 2014, Stand 695, Earls Court, March 2014**
Visitors to RTBE (Retail Business Technology Expo) can preview the new 2N NetSpeaker Audio-over-IP System Music and Audio Marketing distribution system. Available in the UK from CIE-Group, the system is ideal for all types of retail application, whether it be single store or UK-wide / worldwide multi-store broadcasting.
Controlled via a PC-based Central Management Software tool, the 2N NetSpeaker System allows the user to stream music, recorded voice announcements, tones, jingles and promotions or live paging announcements to any on-site zone, remote site or multiple zones/sites via a standard web, LAN or WAN connection.
This new addition to the product portfolio comes following the announcement that the CIE-Group has entered into a new distribution partnership with 2N to provide an innovative range of IP-addressable audio, intercom and door entry systems for professional the AV, retail, telecoms and security sectors.
Commenting on the announcement Chris Edwards, Marketing Director at CIE-Group said:
“The NetSpeaker Audio-over-IP System is a new concept in music and audio marketing multi-store / multi-site distribution over the internet or via LAN or WAN connections. We would welcome anyone wanting to learn more about this or the full range of products to visit the 2N stand at RTBE 2014.”
Using audio-over-IP technology allows for a hugely flexible multi-zone or multi-site distributed sound, and with 2N’s simple to set-up, simple to control NetSpeaker software; complex distributed audio systems can be achieved with ease, speed and significant cost and time savings.
The system is operated using the simple 2N NetSpeaker Console application, which is easy to use for even untrained personnel – so hotel receptionists, school principals or building caretakers can comfortably make announcements on the premises under their management.
Central system administration is performed by an administrator via the 2N NetSpeaker Control Panel interface, which allows the creation of zones for announcements and sound recordings, modification of user rights, audio streaming or the creation of playlists. With the event planner, you can also configure, for example, school bell times or regularly play advertisements.
The range also includes IP-addressable Intercom and Access Control systems – all of which can be integrated with the 2N’s NetSpeaker and SIP Speaker audio products, for a fully integrated multi-zone or multi-site AV system which can be distributed and controlled over standard LAN, WAN or internet networks.
