2N Audio-over-IP Media Systems
The latest addition to the CIE-Group portfolio, 2N provides a brand new range of IP-addressable Audio, Access Control and Intercom Systems…
Headlining the range, the new 2N NetSpeaker Audio-over-IP System provides a new concept in voice / music / audio distribution over the internet or via LAN / WAN connections.
Controlled via a PC-based Central Management Software tool, the 2N NetSpeaker System allows the user to stream music, recorded voice announcements, tones, jingles and promotions or live paging announcements to any on-site zone, remote site or multiple zones/sites via a standard web, LAN or WAN connection.
2N NetSpeaker is based on a range of ‘End Point Interfaces’ – signal-over-IP Receivers which are located at the audio system output point(s) and are connected to either a single loudspeaker, loudspeaker group or additional power amplifier for larger distributed audio installations.
Using audio-over-IP technology to allow hugely flexible multi-zone / multi-site distributed sound, and with 2N’s simple to set-up, simple to control NetSpeaker software; complex distributed audio systems can be achieved with ease, speed and significant cost / time savings.
The system is operated using the simple 2N NetSpeaker Console application, which is easy to use for even untrained personnel – so hotel receptionists, school principals or building caretakers can comfortably make announcements on the premises under their management.
Central system administration is performed by an administrator via the 2N NetSpeaker Control Panel interface, which allows the creation of zones for announcements and sound recordings, modification of user rights, audio streaming or the creation of playlists. With the event planner, you can also configure, for example, school bell times or regularly play advertisements.
The range also includes IP-addressable Intercom and Access Control systems – all of which can be integrated with the 2N’s NetSpeaker and SIP Speaker audio products, for a fully integrated multi-zone or multi-site AV system which can be distributed and controlled over standard LAN, WAN or internet networks.
