Product Description

The 2N 916031 Fingerprint Access Unit is an Independent Access Unit equipped with fingerprint reader. Thanks to its optical sensor, it provides maximum security, high reliability and rapid fingerprint reading response.

The 916031 Biometric Access Unit uses optical fingerprint recognition technology. The device has acoustic and light signal indicators located just above the reader module.

The unit can be used in residential and corporate applications where RFID or keypad access technology is uncommon or where modern and luxury technology is important.

This unit functions as a stand-alone access device, but can be expanded to feature a numerical keypad, backlit info panel, or any other 2N Verso range module. Each option requires additional mounting/finishing components in order to complete the device.

The 2N 916031 Access Unit with Fingerprint Reader is primarily designed for use indoors or protected outdoor areas, having an IP53 protection rating.

As a standalone access control device, the 916031 also requires a cover plate (Part No. 9155021). Power is supplied either via PoE or external power supply (Part No. 91341481E). The 9137423E, not included, is required to add fingerprint identities onto the online system in order to operate door entry.
