Product Description
The Contacta IL-EL42-PB is a surface-mount hearing induction loop system designed for use in conjunction with door entry/door intercom systems.
The latest British Standard – BS 8300 – recommends that all door intercom/access systems should be fitted with an induction loop assistive hearing system in order to meet the guidelines for accessible & inclusive environments.
Where an induction loop system such as the IL-EL42-PB is fitted as part of a door entry/intercom system; this will ensure improved communication between both parties when the user has a hearing impairment and uses a hearing aid.
The induction loop will wirelessly transmit the audio from the door intercom to the user’s hearing aid when it is switched to the ‘T’ (Telecoil) position.
The Contacta IL-EL42-PB Hearing Loop for Door Entry Systems is a surface-mount option.
Also available as a flush-mount model, Part No. IL-EL42-PF.
