Product Description
CYP’s PU-IR01-KIT Extender and Repeater Set provides full control of infrared-controlled devices sited at long distances of up to 250m away.
Up to 5 IR-controlled devices can be connected using this CYP system; 2 source devices being connected and controlled locally, whilst three additional devices can be located up to 250 metres away via the Extender unit, connected over Cat5e/6 ethernet cable.
The system allows for the source devices to be controlled by their original IR remote controls from extended distances (as an example, in a home theatre system, the source devices – DVD, Blu-Ray, digital TV box – may be situated in an AV rack in a ‘systems room’ sited away from the theatre).
A 5-eye IR Emitter accessory can also be supplied for additional control of extra source equipment.
