Product Description
The 2N 2Wire 9159014 is an IP converter kit which allows for any IP device to be connected using a standard 2-core cable (such as twisted pair).
This option is ideal in retro-fit situations where there is a lack of availability of LAN cable in the existing infrastructure; existing 2-core cable can be utilized to transmit IP connected devices (such as IP door intercom, IP camera or IP telephone) or to add them to an existing analogue system.
The 2N 2Wire (Part No. 9159014) Kit comprises a pair of adapters; 1 for the transmit end and 1 for the receive end of the cable.
The kit also includes 1 power supply unit, the second adapter device being powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) supplied from the first device.
Both IP data and PoE are transmitted over the same single 2 wire cable.
The 2N 2Wire system is fully compatible with 2N’s full range of IP Door Intercom systems, allowing the full advantages and functions of these top-of-the-range IP intercoms such as video streaming or integration with mobile devices, even in areas with simple non-Ethernet cable infrastructure.
